Thank you to everyone that came online and partook in the weekend tournament, there were a lot of people and once again we had some stiff competition.

Captain Dunsel came close to first place and Womble1972 seems to be honing their skills with each tournament.
An honorable mention goes out to marcnlisa6967 who won 400 prestige points from 1 battle. Watch out for them in the coming tournaments.

The winner of Round 3 is Spanish' Tercios! Congratulations!
Spud Murphy came really close to overcoming Spanish' Tercios and Captain Dunsel has returned. All around the competition this weekend was pretty serious. 

Spanish' Tercios will hold on to their seat as 1st place winner! Play again in our next tournament on September 1st to try and overthrow them.

Details of the Tournament are:
- All battles between Friday the 18th of August noon PST and Sunday the 20th of August midnight PST will be counted in the tournament.
- Battle Fleet 2 version 1.422 or higher is required. Please check the version number at the bottom of the game's main menu.
- Battles must be 1500 or less Industry Points in size
- Any map is valid. 
- Any ships are valid.
- Any platforms are valid, including PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Amazon.
- Battle must last for at least 1 turn.
- Scores and usernames of all participants will be posted on the Battle Fleet 2 social / media channels on Monday the 21st of August.

You know the drill, get ready for multiplayer action all weekend long and destroy the opposition to be ranked number 1 on the leaderboards. 

Play in matches with no more than 1500 Industry points from Friday August 4th at 6am PST to Sunday August 6th at midnight PST.

We currently have a reigning champion, Captain Dunsel. Do you think you can defeat him? There is only one way to find out, meet him on the seas.
If you achieve the rank of number 1 you will be awarded the title of Captain (if you are below Captain already).

Players may experience some technical issues as we undergo changes to one of our back-end service providers. This will NOT affect the Single Player mode. From July 5th to the 15th players can expect:

 - Multiplayer game mode to be unavailable 
 - Cloud account saving outages
 - Other minor errors with online data

This weekend was a lot of fun, thank you to everyone that came online to wage battle across the seas!
The winner of Round 2 is Captain Dunsel! It appears Captain Dunsel is getting better as they have played 9 games, same as last round, but improved their score from 2000 to 2680! Congratulations! They're going to need to stay sharp though as we're seeing some new names on the board.  Welcome and nice work sailors.
