iPad version Help and Support
iPad Technical Support:
If you are experiencing any type of crash or freeze in the game, try rebooting your ipad. This will solve most problems as they are caused by memory conflicts with other apps.
Q: I can't get the game to install
A: Make sure your ipad has at least iOS 5.0 installed, you can check your ipad's ios version by going to the "Settings" app, then select "General" and "About".
Q: The game quits after the loading message box before I start a battle/mission
A: Try rebooting your ipad, if that doesn't work there may be another app installed that is eating up memory in the background. We have noticed that "Skype" does this on the ipad for some reason, even if you never run it but just have it installed. If your iPad is jailbroken (hacked) it is possible that a jailbroken app is causing the conflict and using up precious memory. If all else fails, delete Battle Fleet and reinstall in from the app store (you won't have to pay again), then reboot your iPad before running it for the first time.
Q: The game freezes on the loading message before I start a mission
A: Loading a new mission/battle typically takes around 20-30 seconds on an ipad 1. If the mission has not loaded within 45 seconds, it is possible that the game has frozen. Rebooting the ipad will typically help or you can fully quit the game by pressing the home button once to return to the home screen and then quitting the app through the multitasking tray as per this video.
